Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DP World and Chairman of Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation, is one of Dubai's leading businessmen.

Mr. Bin Sulayem’s expertise and visionary leadership spearheaded the rapid expansion of Dubai’s infrastructure, including ports and free zones, contributing significantly to the stellar growth trajectory of the United Arab Emirates. He was also a leader in developing the infrastructure supporting Dubai’s successful tourism industry, among various other sectors.

Highlights of his three-decade business career include:

• Leading marine terminal operator DP World’s expansion internationally, including the purchase of the P&O group for US$6.8 billion in March 2006, which propelled it to one of the largest global port operators and trade enablers in the world with 78 marine and inland terminals in six continents
• Overseeing the rapid development of the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) into an unrivalled business park of more than 7300 companies
• Establishing and leading Nakheel, a real estate and tourism property development firm that has created many iconic Dubai projects including The Palm, the world’s largest man-made islands
• Establishing and leading Istithmar World, a major investment house focusing on private equity with a portfolio of investments in diverse sectors across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East including retail, financial services, industry, tourism and hospitality, and healthcare
• Pioneering the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a market for gold and precious metals, diamonds and coloured stones, energy and other commodities

Mr. Bin Sulayem is a BS graduate in Economics from Temple University Philadelphia, USA. He is a Board Member of the "Dubai Executive Council", the "UAE Federal Tax Authority" and "Virgin Hyperloop One".

Phumzile is a co-founder and executive chairman of Afropulse Group (Pty) Ltd, an unlisted investment and corporate advisory house.

She was appointed by President Ramaphosa as a Special Investment Envoy and serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council on Investments.

Mr Narayan has an extensive Senior Executive career with more than 24 years of experience in ports and international banking sectors. Prior to joining DP World he held executive positions with ANZ Group, as Head of Corporate and Project Finance for South Asia and Salalah Port Services in Oman, as Chief Financial Officer. He has also served as Non-Executive Director of Istithmar World and IDFC Securities.As Deputy CEO & Group Chief Financial Officer of DP World he has been instrumental in ensuring the success of a number of Group’s strategic and transformational initiatives. He is qualified Chartered Accountant.

Suhail Al Banna is the CEO and Managing Director - Middle East and Africa at DP World. Prior to this, he was a Senior Vice President, Government Relations and Global Corporate Responsibility.

Suhail has over 15 years’ worth of experience in the port industry, specializing in information technology and the opportunities the latest technology developments bring to the efficient management and control of ports and marine terminals.

He has extensive international experience and is a member of the Board of Asian Terminals Incorporated (Philippines), a member of the Board of DP World Dakar in Senegal, and Chairs the Board of Tejari Solutions, a company specializing in e-commerce procurement. Between 2009 - 2012 he acted as interim CEO at sister company Tejari Fze LLC, where he introduced two new business lines - Tejari Solutions, a web based eSourcing service for business procurement and Tejuri.com to support Dubai retailers selling their merchandise online to consumers globally.

Suhail is a graduate of San Diego State University in the USA, and has also participated in Executive Management Programmes at Harvard Business School and Kellogg Business School.

Mohammed Akoojee was recently appointed as the Group Chief Operating Officer of the newly created Logistics Pillar at DP World, which includes contract logistics, freight forwarding, market access and freight management globally. In addition, he will continue to serve as the Chief Executive Officer ('CEO') of 星火电竞手机版外围, an African and European provider of integrated market access and logistics solutions, recently acquired and wholly owned by DP World. Mohammed also serves as a director of the Board of 星火电竞手机版外围.

George is the group CFO of 星火电竞手机版外围. George joined 星火电竞手机版外围 in 2005 and held various executive positions in subsequent years. He was also closely involved with the creation of the Market Access division and his expertise in integrating acquisitions and establishing controls contributed to the evolution of the division from a collection of relatively small transport businesses to the significant business it is today. Prior to joining 星火电竞手机版外围, George was the financial director of Imperilog Limited. George is a director of various group subsidiaries (both local and international), chairs the divisional FRRCs and is a trustee of the South African Provident Fund.

Effective July 2020, Edwin is the CEO of the Logistics Africa business. This follows his appointment as CEO of Logistics South Africa in March 2020. Edwin has led companies such as DAWN and Capital Africa Steel in his capacity as chief executive officer, and served as the chief restructuring officer of PPC and group executive director of Murray & Roberts.

Esha is responsible for investor relations, ESG and sustainability, internal and stakeholder communications, corporate affairs and brand positioning for the Group. Esha’s previous roles include the head of investor relations at Kumba Iron Ore Limited, a subsidiary of the Anglo American plc group, and investor relations officer and media spokesperson for Harmony Gold Mining Company.

Cobus leads the newly established centre-led Digital & IT Function supporting Logistics Africa and Market Access. He is the custodian of the group's digital mandate that includes disruptive venture investments, unlocking competitive advantage from digital capabilities, facilitating insights from data and standardising systems across the business and functions. Before joining 星火电竞手机版外围 in 2009, Cobus co-founded Volition which he led to evolve into Resolve to underpin the Lead Logistics Provider business within 星火电竞手机版外围. Prior to that, Cobus was Logistics Director of Cadbury South Africa.

Effective July 2020, Johan serves as the CEO of 星火电竞手机版外围’s Market Access business. Integral to our ‘Gateway to Africa’ strategy, Johan guides this business across the globe as it works to facilitate trade flows into and out of Africa. His extensive experience in navigating the complex African continent - and proven success in developing and implementing market access solutions and value-add logistics - sees him well placed as a strategic partner to multinational clients wanting to enter and grow in emerging economies. Johan previously served as CEO of the African Regions - growing the business from humble beginnings to the go to strategic partner in Africa to brand owners looking for unique consumer and healthcare market access and logistics solutions. He initially joined the group with the acquisition of Broco in 2004, a business of which he was joint founder and managing director.

Junaid is a seasoned People and Culture executive, with global experience in this function across multiple sectors including pharmaceutical, construction & engineering and financial services. Prior to joining 星火电竞手机版外围, Junaid worked at several large organisations including Sasol, ABSA/Barclays, Group Five and Eli Lilly where he served at a Senior or Executive level. He is a qualified pharmacist and completed an MBA degree. With over 20 years of experience in Human Capital management, business leadership and transformation, and business management, Junaid has led large business, human resources functions and organisational projects including system, behavioural, culture and structural change initiatives.

Zayd serves as our EVP: Corporate Finance and has over 12 years of global investment banking experience. He has worked on numerous M&A and capital markets transactions for leading, international investment banks and has advised a diverse client base (including corporates, governments and financial sponsors). He has been involved in a variety of transactions encompassing cross border M&A, IPOs, capital restructurings, bond issuance, equity derivatives and private placements.

Zayd has led the successful completion of multiple transactions that are critical in positioning 星火电竞手机版外围 for growth. He joined us from Standard Chartered Bank where he served as Executive Principal in the Corporate Finance Division focusing on M&A in Africa. Previously, Zayd worked at Credit Suisse where he led the investment banking coverage effort for Credit Suisse in sub-Saharan Africa and served on the Board of Directors of Credit Suisse Securities, Johannesburg.
